Why Hire a Ghostwriter?

Writing a book takes a lot of work – and not everyone has the time or patience for it. A ghostwriter does the heavy lifting for you so you can share your ideas with the world in less time and with less effort.

Build Your Brand

You’re a busy founder or CEO and want to tell the story of your business. You just don’t have time to write it yourself!

As a ghostwriter, I’ll interview you, review your notes, and share your hard-earned words of wisdom in your own voice.

The result? A book, essay, or white paper that you can use to build your brand, establish yourself as a thought leader in your industry, and get more speaking opportunities. No one ever needs to know someone else wrote it!

Write Your First Novel

You’re an aspiring writer with an idea for a fantasy/sci-fi/mystery novel that you want to share with the world — you just can’t seem to get past the first chapter!

As your ghostwriter or developmental editor, I’ll work with you to outline the plot, develop your characters, and create a world and story that you can be proud of.

At the end of this collaborative process, you’ll have a completed manuscript that you can either self-publish or submit to publishing houses.

Tell Your Life Story

You have a fascinating life story that everyone says would make a great memoir. The problem is, you can’t seem to turn your journals into a cohesive narrative.

Together, we’ll review your notes, photos, and even voice memos to find the arc that ties it all together while staying true to who you are.

The outcome? A memoir that you can keep for yourself, read to your friends and family, or share with the wider world.

I set aside six months for each project, but the exact amount of time it takes depends on the length of the book and how much of it you’ve already written.

You don’t have to be available the entire time. We’ll have several meetings or phone calls early on in the process as we get to know each other. After I have enough material to get started, we’ll check in less frequently — around once or twice a week.

Expect to spend at least $20,000 USD for a full-length manuscript. Ghostwriting is my full-time job, and each project requires my full attention for months at a time. I wouldn’t be able to devote so much time to your book while holding down a day job!

I also set my rates high because I don’t want to take advantage of people who can’t afford them. This is a service for mid-career professionals — not a way to get rich quick as a writer.

Yes! We can break the fee into multiple installments. The first $5,000 is a non-refundable deposit, and covers the onboarding process and first chapter.

The remaining installments are due monthly, with a 5% discount for paying in full.

No. I’m a ghostwriter, not a literary agent or publisher. I can refer you to other professionals who specialize in proofreading, formatting, cover design, etc.

My goal is to produce a manuscript that readers will enjoy, but it's up to you to market it and find an audience.

We’ll be checking in throughout the writing process so you can be confident that the book is moving in the right direction. We’ll also go through a revision stage once the manuscript is complete.

Once the book is written, there are no refunds, but you’re free to make any changes you like.

Of course! A book is the most common request, but I can also help you write a newsletter, white paper, conference talk, magazine article, blog post, or anything else that comes to mind.
